For each new document, you should specify text orientation, justification, and word wrap, all by using items from the Text menu, if the defaults are not suitable.
ORIENTATION refers to the direction of the script in which the document is written, and is completely different from JUSTIFICATION which refers to the alignment of lines aginst the margins. Select either Orient Left to Right or Orient Right to Left according to the direction of the main script used in the text. For example, for a primarily Arabic document, possibly with interspersed Roman text, you should select Orient Right to Left. (You can switch back and forth between two fonts by typing Cmd-hyphen or selecting Previous from the Font menu.)
Next, specify Left Justify, Center Justify, or Right Justify. MuEdit does not allow two-sided text justification. Usually, you would use left justification with left-to-right scripts and right justification with right-to-left scripts.
Finally, you should enable or disable Word Wrap. (When word wrap is enabled, text lines are automatically broken so that a word that would otherwise extend beyond the window edge is displayed on the next line.)
NOTE: If no script resources have been installed, the Text Orientation menu items are disabled, and the system script's orientation is used.
Text justification, word wrap, and text orientation info is saved in the document as a resource.
